Vinicius Gomes is a guitarist, guitarist and composer. Has performed with important names of the music, such as Rosa Passos, Jane Duboc, Arthur Verocai and Oswaldinho do Acordeon, Toninho Ferragutti, Thiago Espirito Santo and Mestrinho. He has participated in several works in Brazilian instrumental music, besides being one of the leaders of the Kvar group. He has also worked with orchestras such as Osesp and Jazz Symphony of SP.
Resilience is dedicated to the dialogue between the universe of Brazilian music and contemporary jazz. Released in 2017, by the label Blaxtream, it is the first entirely authorial work of Vinicius. The main influences of the composer are Wayne Shorter, Milton Nascimento, Bill Evans, Tom Jobim, Herbie Hancock and Toninho Horta. With Rodrigo Ursaia (sax and flute), Gustavo Bugni (piano), Bruno Migotto (bass), Edu Ribeiro (drums).
