The band Quartier Latin performs at BONA on Valentine's Day bringing the romanticism and poetry of music sung in French.
With a repertoire in French that transits between chanson classics, modern French songs and French versions of Brazilian music, the musical journey promises to be interesting.
A mix between Brazil and France marks the presentation of the Quartier Latin, a French-Brazilian group that brings unusual musical mixes from both countries. In the repertoire, Edith Piaf's classics, Jacques Brel and Serge Gainsbourg meet more contemporary sonorities of Paris, like Zaz, Camille and Stromae, in arrangements with a Latin seasoning. Meanwhile, the Dominguinhos forró and Simonal samba-rock join French versions of Chico Buarque and Mutantes.
