felipe-crocco-300x300 Yasmim Bianco% tagsFelipe Crocco is a bassist, guitarist, music producer, one of the guys ahead of the label EAEO.

Uia's super partner, at 2015 he was responsible for the recordings of our radio show, Uia no Ar, which was broadcast weekly by Radio Vozes. Every week we met in the studio of Epicenter CultureAt the end of the interviews with the guests, the talk always went away, ranging from music to politics - he is, in fact, highly engaged in debates on social issues.

24 on March the Felipe band, the Chimpanzé Trio Club, releases its fifth album, Zerânia (please click here to know about the event). With 15 years of road, the trio - formed by Angelo Kanaan, on drums; Crocco and Luiz Miranda, alternating on bass and guitar - brings various musical influences, from krautrock to progressive rock, from disco-funk to surf music, but always rooted in seventh-century rock.

"Zerania can be a place, a time, a way of life, it can be in the near or distant future, it can be something very good or very bad. It is the listener who will build his own Zerania - the band only suggests the soundtrack. "

We took advantage of the release of the launch to make a rapidinha with Felipe:

Uia: What's the good in Sao Paulo?
Felipe Crocco:The presence and encounters with friends, the vast cultural, educational, spiritual possibilities (3 has Buddhist centers here close to home) and professionals.

Uia: And a stolen?
FC: Rely on major commutes in the city. This need not be a problem but it is unfortunately.

Uia: A soundtrack for São Paulo.
FC:Brian Eno's album Lux. To be tranquil in the midst of chaos. I've heard a lot and I think it's beautiful.

Uia: What was the last show you saw in the city?
FC:Elza Soares - The Voice and the Machine. From the top of her over 80 years she comes with a super current and contemporary show. Fully synchronized with what has produced the best in Brazilian music nowadays and dialoguing with our most current problems. This is as if it was not enough to have launched 2015 "The Woman at the End of the World" now. Elza is really amazing!

Uia: And the last movie you watched?
FC:The Square: The Art of Discord. Very funny, intelligent and a little distressing. To see how much things does not even make much sense and how a life of high achieving professional, comfort and pleasures can also be very empty .. Highly recommend!

Uia: What makes you sleep in SP?
FC: Have João Dória as mayor. It bothers me enough to know that the city is - literally - for sale and that a violent, authoritarian and ignorant elite is in charge.

Uia: Any solution to go back to sleep in peace?
FC:Popular organization, community life. I have no idea how to do this but I think it would greatly improve my sleep.

Uia: A face and / or voice for Sao Paulo.
FC: Mano Brown.

Uia: A sight you'd like to see in the city.
FC:There is not a specific show that I would like to see, I think Sampa already has enough supply in that sense. What I would like to see is more show houses and that these show houses were more economically viable. Shows on the streets and squares of the city think excellent too. The more the merrier!

Uia: Which neighborhood would you honor in a song?
FC:It must have several tributes but I really like Santa Cecilia.

Uia: A phrase that defines São Paulo.
FC:I do not know if it defines but I would like it to define: "possible new zombie quilombo".
